Модели, выявляющие количественные связи между объемом и динамикой производства (совокупного общественного продукта, валового внутреннего продукта, национального дохода, конечного продукта) и объемом и динамикой производственных ресурсов. Когда рассматривается один вид производственных ресурсов (например, трудовые), то это однофакторная модель, когда анализируется несколько видов ресурсов — многофакторная модель. Среди Ф.м. наибольшее применение имеют производственные функции, исследование которых развилось в важное направление экономической (экономико-математической) науки.
